The Audience Portal is your very own public URL for hosting transcripts and that in-audio search. If you have limited web presence, having the Audience Portal enabled ensures your transcribed shows are available and published to the internet professionally.
The Audience Portal will list transcribed episodes allowing your audience to view the transcripts and read along. It also provides a powerful in-audio search that can look up and bring back not only the text but the audio for the segment that matches the query.
The content displayed and published in the Audience Portal is visible to Google and other search engines. They are crawled daily.
If you wish to exclude your transcript from being visible in the Audience Portal or wish to disabled the feature altogether you can do so in the Configuration section of the dashboard under Settings.
