How do I integrate the in-audio search feature on my own website?

Currently the in-audio search dedicated for your podcast will be housed in your Audience Portal.

The easiest way to integrate the in-audio search within your website is to take advantage of the fact that the Audience Portal can take parameters in the URL.

For example the Audience Portal for our demo account can be found here:

    https://www.elasticpod.com/pod/the-daily-by-the-new-york-times-1

However, you can pass a query parameter to the URL above and have the in-audio search open up with the results of what’s requested in the URL.

For example, open the following URL:

    https://www.elasticpod.com/pod/the-daily-by-the-new-york-times-1?query=Guardians%20of%20the%20Galaxy

Will open the Audience Portal for our demo account with the results for Guardians of the Galaxy.

If you or your webmaster can add a search box in your website that redirects to the URL for your Audience Portal with the query parameter set to the content of the search box, you can forward searches from your website to your Audience Portal.
